Beverlyns Apothecary, Cold Sore Balm is 100% natural and made from an infusion of Lemon Balm and Calendula to heal, protect and soothe your lips. It has been formulated in particular to heal cold sores or viral infection (herpes simplex virus) typically around the lips. The HSV virus strikes when you have low immunity, stress or illness. It starts with a tingly sensation, leading onto blisters etc. The cold sore balm can be used throughout as a treatment and then as preventative. It is moisturising, soothing and healing.

Directions:

Even though this balm is antiviral it is recommended that you do not apply it directly to an active cold sore but use an application such as cotton bud or ice block stick.
Start using the balm as soon as tingly sensation starts
Use a tiny amount of balm and place it on the blisters to assist with the healing process.
When there are no more cold sores in sight, use it as a normal lip balm to keep the cold sores at bay.
