Beverlyn's Apothecary Beard Balm is a butter base balm that will help condition, moisturise and soften your beard while also removing tangles and knots. It is thicker than our beard oil and takes longer to absorb into the skin. Therefore can be used as a styling product while also providing a spectacular sheen to your beard.

When applied regularly, our quality Beard Balm helps the beard stay strong, healthy and give it shine while promoting healthy growth.

Instructions:

Take a small amount of balm, rub it between your palms and fingers and apply it to the beard. Start from the neck and work your way up. Reverse the direction of the motion and run your fingers from top to bottom. Ensure that you spread the balm to the roots to hydrate and help beard growth.

Apply beard balm after washing and drying the beard.

Benefits of the ingredients Used:

Argan Oil (Argania spins): Our Argan Oil is sourced from Olvea Morocco, which supports the communities they work with in a sustainable manner. It is high in antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties. It is also high in Vitamin E, Omega 6 linoleic acid and proteins. These therefore helps with soothing the scalp, preserve moisture and elasticity, and restores hair strength, softness and brightness.

Sweet Almond Oil (Prunus amygdalus dulcis): Sweet almond oil has high quantities of oleic acid, which has emollient properties. It is therefore beneficial for dehydrated, dry, damaged and frizzy hair.

Hemp Seed Oil (Cannabis sativa): Hemp oil is the same plant family as the marijuana plant, however its derivatives do not produce any intoxicating effects. It has anti-inflammatory and essential fatty acids useful in assisting with skin and hair conditions. Regular use can help with smooth, thick, strong and soft hair.

Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia chinensis): Jojoba is a liquid wax made up of esters of saturated and mono-unsaturated, fatty acid and fatty alcohols. This gives the Jojoba excellent stability. The combination of Jojoba is similar to the sebum produced by our skin and therefore nourishing, protective and well-tolerated. It is an excellent emollient and moisturiser for hair.

Shea Butter (Butyspermum Park Butter): Our Shea butter is ethically sourced from a company in Africa called Olvea.  It is rich in fatty acids and other nutrients that are important for maintaining the health of the skin. It also has a high content of vitamins A, E and F with helps keep hair soft and moisturised. It reduces frizziness and acts as a natural barrier the protects hair from external influences and reduces the risk of damage and dehydration.

Mango Butter (Mangifera Indica Seed Butter): Mango Butter is soothing, moisturising and protective. Due to its rich vitamins A and E, it helps seal in moisture and reduces breakages and hair loss by strengthening hair follicles therefore encouraging the growth of stronger, healthier hair.

Frankincense and Myrrh: An exotic blended fragrance which takes inspiration from other opulent fragrances of the Middle East.
